Dreams Impossible?
Are your dreams impossible?  Can you imagine your dreams saying: 'I'm Possible!' ... and believe it?

The word impossible can suck the wind out of your sails, or be your greatest inspiration, when reframed just a little. Use the word impossible differently to inspire yourself to take that next step.
All creation begins
at the level
of thought
and idea.

the Angels
The word impossible holds sway over many of our aspirations. The little shift I'd like you to make with your pen is to add a space, an apostrophe and an exclamation point to 'impossible' and transform it to I'm Possible!
Growing up, I often felt the sting of impossible.  It wasn't just a word, it was a wall that appeared when I came near a dream that I shared; those around me told me my dream was impossible.

After years of struggling to break out of the status quo and define life as I wanted to experience it, still the word impossible was like the monster under the bed. It was still active, sucking the 'life' from my heart's desires. 'How could you possibly have blank? Who are you? It's unrealistic, you'll never do it. Get your head out of the clouds' they'd say.

On they went with more 'who do you think you are' statements. What's this about living your bliss; what does that Joseph Campbell know (according to many with smaller dreams than mine)?  Follow your Bliss? - 'that's ridiculous!' they continued.
What I've come to realize after helping many realize their aspirations ... . It IS exactly the idea of living our dreams that does fuel the spark of our dreams! Our dreams are shouting in our hearts 'I'm Possible!'  How do you live your dreams if they haven't shown up yet?  Begin with the idea. Go to the virtual experience within you, feeling it viscerally, and remember that thought and feeling as though you experience it fully when you recall it. Simple yes. Easy? Can be.
The idea of living the lifestyle that matches who we are pulls us forward when we allow it. The idea of what we aspire to being a possibility, truly a thing to experience, brings us toward the opportunity to experience our desires in our physical reality. Making simple change in perspective, such a very little adjustment, changing your thoughts from impossible to "I'm Possible" can be your fuel. When you listen to those around you who keep telling you you're wasting your time when you want to give it another go or tell you it doesn't matter, it's too hard for you, you will never get there anyway - you're not really listening to their fears, you're really fearful of achieving your own greatness. Take care who you trust with your dreams.
In Handling Fear, Marianne Williamson relates the story of a roommate she once lived with who became successful in the movie industry. She had become so busy, she just couldn't spend time with her friends. When they did call her, they called with sarcastic messages... 'oh, you're probably having lunch with famous so and so, etc., too busy to spend time with your friends' (or some such petty negativity). Marianne continues to tell that her former roommate told her how hard it was for her that her friends were so insensitive and small-minded; she was not ignoring them, she was genuinely working at her art.  Then Marianne tells of how our society does not have a support system for when things are going well with us.  It was very interesting and helped me reframe all the inner voices coming back to me with a pit in my stomach saying what I dream of living was 'impossible.'  I have vowed for Expanded Soul to be a place where expansion is celebrated!
The impossible never sat right with me. I'm quite stubborn (an aspect I have reframed and now use to help me to be diligent with my questioning and discoveries) and I began to start to know better.. the inner voice has reframed the petty past saying, But of course! I'm Possible! Besides, I felt better the more I let myself enjoy this new part of me!
As an aside, it is very interesting that there are such pervading occurrences of heart dis-ease. Are our hearts are simply breaking apart, one piece at a time, from not having valued them in such a very long time? The heart is strong, yet fragile, likened to stained glass, the heart cannot contain all the sorrow of dreams perceived lost that we've buried within them. Most heart attacks happen Monday at 9am.... again, interesting.

Your dreams are calling you. You have an inner knowing that your  forgotten dreams
aren't quite forgotten... perhaps they are just waiting to be revived. By  tuning out all the head games you've acquiesced to throughout your life, and being still, you can hear those dreams faintly -then at times not so faintly - calling to be revived.

You know what lights you up, fires you up, and inspires you to want to play with others who have connected or reconnected with their heart's desires. There's no way you don't know what you really want, you're just anesthetized by the fear that has clouded your inner vision and added static to your inner voice.
"Soaring"
Learning the art of stained glass was an amazing lesson in the fragility and strength of life.
Once we learn something new, there is no unlearning it, yet we can dismiss it easily enough. You cannot un-know what you know.  However, your sub-conscious mind (the ego, which I refer to as Egore), will throw a tantrum and there we go, right back to the old... up until now!*   From this moment forward, when you see or hear the word impossible, you may just naturally add a space, an apostrophe and an exclamation point in your mind, to re-mind yourself that your dreams and aspirations sing: "I'm possible!"

With but a little guidance, you can revive and reconnect with your dreams. My life hasn't been the same since I've listened to and followed mine. When I began to enjoy how easily accessible and powerful the simple inspirations are and learn to act on those inspired thoughts, life was just more full. Oh yes, this can be fun as well!

With but a little guidance, you can revive and reconnect with your dreams... then live them.
*Up until now... a wonderful phrase that places what you say before it behind you,
freeing up your now and ahead.
